What email address do I give vendors? +

You’ll get a format like invoice+{yourID}@bill.zilmoney.com. You can make vendor-specific aliases if you want finer tracking.

What files are supported? +

PDF, JPG, PNG, and common scans. If the invoice is inside the email body, we read that text too.

What exactly gets extracted? +

Vendor, invoice #, issue/due dates, currency, subtotal, tax, total, PO/reference, and line items (when present). You can edit anything before posting.

How do approvals work? +

Bills created from the Inbox follow your Zil Money approval rules. Nothing skips your process.

How do you prevent duplicates? +

We use email metadata and invoice fingerprinting. If something looks familiar, we show a duplicate warning.

Is my data secure? +

Yes. Mail is handled by Amazon SES; content sits in S3 with encryption; metadata in DynamoDB; compute in Lambda/Laravel with least-privilege access and audit trails.

Does this replace my AP email? +

You can keep your normal email for vendor chats. Route invoice PDFs to your Bill Inbox so bills build themselves.
